SCREAM FASTPITCH SOFTBALL

Established in 2012,  the Scream Fast Pitch Softball organization was formed to help promote the sport of girls fast pitch softball and to develop a group of young ladies whose goal is to play at the college level. We have a very experienced and knowledgeable coaching staff with professional and college experience that will help mold these girls, mentally and physically to reach their goal. Scream starts as early as 10U in development, depending on the season.

Our organization strives on hard work, dedication, the love of the game and team unity. We as coaches want to make sure that these girls are equipped with the necessary values to succeed in life after softball. Strength, Character, Respect, Effort, Positive Attitude, and Mental Toughness.

YEAR LONG TRAINING AND CONDITIONING

Our organization works and plays all year long. Starting in the fall, we begin outdoor practices and conditioning at the following locations depending on age group:

  • Ringing Hills field located at 815 White Pine Lane in Pottstown

  • St. Luke's Church located at 3206 Big Road in Zieglersville

  • Saint Teresa of Calcutta fields off Swamp Pike

  • Manderach Park in Limerick Township

The girls begin playing in the fall ASA round robins, local scrimmages and USSSA or other tournaments to get a better understanding of what we need to work on during the winter months. Starting in January we move indoor to work on hitting, pitching, catching, and fielding fundamentals.  We routinely have organization-wide clinics and focused sessions for pitchers, catchers and other positions which get girls from all the age-groups together for dynamic learning.  For speed, strength and agility winter training, we partner with local indoor facilities and academies to provide this vital part of the overall training regimen as well.

Our teams play indoor tournaments in the winter / early spring, and then move into the spring / summer season with a full slate of tournaments both in the area and in "over night" locations.  Depending on the team / season, certain teams will also qualify for and attend sanctioned organizations' national championship tournaments, such as USSSA, USA, Pony, etc.

For us nothing is more rewarding than watching these young ladies grow as athletes and as people. We love the game of softball almost as much as working with the kids.
